A hot week is one of the easier times to drift from the plan: size creeps up, extra pairs get added, the checklist gets skipped.
Some questions for the group:
1. Do you have a written rule for when risk per trade can change, or is it decided in the moment?
2. Do you count recent profit as part of your equity for sizing, or treat it differently?
3. Have you ever raised size after a streak and regretted it? What did you change afterwards?
4. Do you use daily or weekly loss limits, and do they apply on good days too?
No need to share numbers. The rules and the lessons are what is useful. We wrote up the idea here: /blog/overconfidence-after-winning-streaks-forex
What is your rule for sizing up (or not) after a good week?
