If you are just starting out, this thread is for you. If you have been trading a while, this is your chance to save a newcomer some money.
Two questions:
1. What is the one rule you wish you had followed from your very first trade? (Risk per trade, using a stop, not trading news, keeping a journal, something else?)
2. What is the one thing you are still confused about right now?
A few starting points from our articles if you want them: position sizing (/blog/position-sizing-risk-per-trade), where to place a stop (/blog/where-to-place-a-stop-loss), and how margin works (/blog/lots-leverage-margin-explained).
No signals or trade calls here, please. Just what you have learned and what you are still working out.
New to FX: what was the first rule you wish you had followed from day one?
