The New Zealand dollar was the weakest major on Wednesday after the Reserve Bank of New Zealand surprised markets by holding rates. On TradingView's major-pairs board NZD/USD was quoted near 0.5603, down about 1.35% on the day, by far the largest move among the seven majors listed.
InvestingLive's commentary described the hold as a surprise and asked whether it exposes a wider problem with how markets price central-bank rates. The point is a useful reminder: when pricing runs ahead of what a bank is willing to deliver, a single decision can reprice a currency quickly.

- AUD/USD was near 0.7028, up about 0.08%. InvestingLive noted the pair struggling to break key resistance despite a hot Australian CPI print and a hawkish RBA.
- That left the Kiwi under pressure against its neighbour on the day, though we did not observe an AUD/NZD quote.
Later in the day, the UK budget, the Bank of Canada decision and the Fed decision are all due. Quotes are a snapshot from a public board without a timestamp and may have moved. Market commentary only, not a trading recommendation.
